AEM’s New Offer for 2007 – DRYFLOW-Equipped BFS
GMC Yukons and Chevy Tahoes and Suburbans can now experience a new Air Filter as AEM introduced its Brute Force Intake for their 5.3L V8 Engines.
As expected, these Brute Force intakes have undergone dyno-testing against its other brand competitors so that customers could be assured that these deliver more torque and horsepower than the competition. This intake system also went through tuning right on the vehicle. This is done again to ensure that only the maximum torque and horsepower is delivered at every throttle position. During this tuning, they also monitored OBDII sensors so that chances of having the engine light check turned on won’t be a problem anymore. To check the Dyno-testing results made on the Brute Force applications, just go to the website of AEM.
Brute Force Intakes are only made of CNC, mandrel-bent 6061 aluminum, and feature reinforced, TIG-welded brackets and fittings for supreme durability. AEM also included a heavily-performing steel heat shield that’s coated with powder black for a great finish, a hardware kit complete with comprehensive installations instructions with every Brute Force Intake Systems. These intake systems are also offered in different styles as Brute Force has it in either silver powercoat or mirror-polished look.
And because AEM’s DRYFLOW air filters have become a favorite, they also added it to their AEM intakes. This DRYFLOW man-made performance air filter is the first among its kind to be cleanable, reusable air filter with no need of putting oil to the filter to trap dirt and contaminants.
Other features that DRYFLOW air filters have include no oil eliminates chance of over-oiling taking guesswork out of servicing, it is cleanable and therefore is guaranteed to last for a very long time. It is also good to know that the DRYFLOW Synthetic filter’s unique non-woven polyester filter media is independently tested at 98.6% initial filtration efficiency (99.4% cumulative efficiency) to particles as little as one micron, based on SAE J276 JUN93 Fine Dust Air Cleaner Test Code procedures. Oiled filter efficiency is usually 905 to 95% so it naturally passed the test.
Also, the natural gray-colored filter complements the mirror-polished and silver powdercoat paint finishes, and it hides the dirt that it keeps out from the engine. A mineral-strengthened plastic interior cage adds to the structural rigidness, which could be considered almost impossible to collapse. Its no mesh screen would mean no more trouble over filter damage from bumps during installation or cleaning and no corrosion damage.
All AEM Brute Force intake systems has a limited lifetime warranty and are 50-state legal or have pending legality (except “Off Road Only” systems noted in application guides). With Advance Engine Management as its name, AEM Performance Parts are sure to be above its competition in street and race performance products – whether in quality and value. And many race car drivers using the performance parts trademarked by AEM have all been known to surpass other race cars in competition.
